It's a Western tradition for American cowboys to ride saddles that are decorated with elegant, delicately carved floral and geometric patterns and, in some cases, embroidered with gold and silver ornaments. With this in mind, Virginia artist and craftsman Chad Brady, whose uncle has been a cobbler for over 30 years, making fancy chaps for rodeo cowboys, keeps the spirit alive with a Painted Pony he has beautifully tooled with floral, oak leaf and acorn patterns. The designs on this pony are in relief (3-dimensional) with some scattered jewels (red and yellow) on tail and mane.
My photos are of the actual pony in this listing!
Please consider these images as part of the description.
I have looked this pony over carefully and can detect no obvious cracks or chips in it prior to shipping. Please note that some ponies (particular older ones)may have minor imperfections or show signs of touch-up, such as under-paints or overpaints (as most ceramic and some resin pieces do) that occurred during manufacturing, as each one is hand painted.
Most painted pony boxes have shelf wear or the tag may be creased or slightly bent; this does not affect the pony in any way.
