HISTORY:
This AMAZING car was a ‘TOP OF THE LINE’ popular ‘Country Club Car’ of the mid 80’s. The Eldorado also refers to El Dorado, the mythical South American "Lost City of Gold" that fascinated Spanish explorers. This was the last year of the 8th edition of the Cadillac Eldorado. Powered by a fuel injected 4.1-liter V8 coupled to a 4-speed automatic transmission with electronic overdrive, this drivetrain provided power, as well as economy. Luxury was no longer defined by sheer size, but comfort, drivability, and meeting the EPA emission standards. This is a Southern California ‘dry climate’ car & has NEVER been registered out of So Cal. It is a one-owner car until I purchased it for resale.
EXTERIOR:
This meticulously cared for car displays a beautiful exterior finish in Sandstone. Minimal scratching or marring is seen. This Biarritz edition features a brushed stainless-steel roof covering the front passenger compartment... A styling cue taken from the 1957/58 Eldorado Brougham. The rear half of the roof is covered with a Sandstone colored heavily padded landau vinyl top, accented with ‘opera’ lights. Fit and finish is straight and true. Cadillac chrome spoked wire wheel covers add to the overall “glitz” of the vehicle. It also has new white wall tires.
INTERIOR:
The interior features “pillowed” style “tufted” leather seating in tan finish. All seating shows normal wear for age. Dash and instrumentation is original, and no chips or cracks are evident on dash. The steering wheel is in good condition, and adjustable up and down. Headliner has recently been redone to its original glory. The car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power driver seat, climate control, cruise control, power windows, power mirrors, and an AM/FM Cassette player. The plush beige carpeting throughout, is in generally clean and unstained condition. All power options are operational.
Drivetrain
A 4.1-liter V8 powers a 4-speed plus electronic overdrive transmission, that offers accelerating power as well as maintaining fuel efficiency on long trips. An underside view shows drivetrain to be leak free, and no signs of rusting.
DOCUMENTATION & MISC:
The vehicle documentation includes the original build sheet, service and owner's manuals, Gold Key member card and a Symphony System cassette. It comes with a full sized white wall spare tire and the original jack (never used with original stickers) is neatly camouflaged in the trunk. This amazing car also has its original trunk overlay with the Cadillac emblem.

This Cadillac comes loaded with all of the factory convenience options available, including leather interior, sunroof, climate-control air conditioning, touring air-ride suspension, power seats, windows, locks, trunk and antenna, tilt and telescoping steering, stereo and wire wheel covers that wear their original tires. It has been stored in a climate-controlled facility since new, and the undercarriage maintains all of its original tags
